Sunsets and sunrises around the world
Is there anybody who doesn’t stand mesmerised in front of a beautiful sunset or sunrise??? I do! Every time! I love sunsets. What am I saying?…I am addicted to sunsets. Yes I admit. Although I love the sun, the time when it is setting is indeed my favourite part of the day, the magical moment…. I also call it “aperitif time” 😉
Whenever I travel I plan my day based on the sunset, always searching for the best spot, the best time. Depending on the place I do the same for sunrise and although it does require a bit more effort ( sometimes waking up at ridiculous hours), it is worth it (most of the time).
For example, I would wake up again and again at 4AM to catch that otherworldly Borobudur sunrise. There are moments that are so extraordinary that they cannot be described in words….but you want to keep those memories, those images with you forever…..and that’s why I take photos, loads of them 🙂
